Principals

David Ter Horst, P.E.

Dave is a Principal responsible for Structural Engineering and Investigative Engineering Services. He has extensive experience in the structural design of new projects for industrial, commercial, office and sports facilities as well as investigations of older buildings and structures dating back to the mid 1800's. Dave has a strong background in the design, investigation and evaluation of many construction materials such as steel, concrete, engineered wood, heavy timber and masonry including stone, brick and concrete block. He graduated from the University of Michigan in 1978 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the States of Indiana, Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky and Wisconsin. Dave is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers, National Society of Professional Engineers and the Construction Specifications Institute.

Mark Fisk, P.E.

Mark is a Principal responsible for Civil/Site Engineering and Building Design Services. He has extensive experience in the design of commercial, institutional and industrial facilities. Mark has a strong background in the investigation, evaluation and retrofit design of existing buildings and structures. He graduated from Purdue University in 1980 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the States of Indiana and Ohio, and is a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers and the American Concrete Institute.

Associates

Bob Armfield, P.E.

Bob is an Associate in responsible for Structural Engineering Services. He has extensive experience in structural design & project management in institutional, educational, commercial, office, and industrial facilities. Bob’s design experience includes management of numerous projects utilizing concrete, steel, masonry and engineered wood. More notably, he was the Senior Project Manager for the $105 million Indianapolis Airport Authority Parking Structure. He graduated from Purdue University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Indiana, and is a member of both the Indiana and National American Concrete Institutes, and the American Institute of Steel Construction.

Richard Judd, P.E., S.E., R.A.

Richard is an Associate responsible for Structural Engineering and Building Design Services. He has extensive experience in commercial, institutional, industrial and investigative projects, including seismic and explosives analysis. He graduated from the University of Illinois in 1981 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Architectural Studies, and in 1982 received a Masters Degree in Architecture Engineering from the same. He is a Registered Professional Engineer in the State of Indiana, a Registered Structural Engineer in the State of Illinois, and a Registered Architect in Indiana, Illinois and Ohio. Richard is a member of the National Council of Architects Registration Board (SEAI), the American Concrete Institute, the Structural Engineers Association, and the American Institute of Steel Construction.
