Description:Ter Horst, Lamson & Fisk, Inc. provided structural and civil engineering design services for the Banet Core Education Center at St. Joseph's College in Rensselaer, Indiana. The project consisted of a 45,500 s.f., two story structure containing a 400 seat auditorium, an 80 seat lecture hall, multimedia classrooms, a computer laboratory, a science laboratory, core classrooms, offices and support facilities for the teaching staff and the Academic Affairs department.

Project Highlights:

• Site improvements included parking lots, drives, sidewalks, courtyards, landscaping and extension of site utilities.
• The facility opened in 1997 with a construction cost of $5 million.
• Two-story steel framed structure utilizing long span steel trusses across the auditorium.
